LOCATION: 170 acre farm in Hartsburg, MO – 20 mins to Jeff City, 25 mins to Columbia

Park your VAN or RV in or near our Berry Barn for a minimum of 3 months (or longer if it works for both of us!) and help us keep an eye on the farm while ensuring smooth operations at our 3 short term rental listings:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Join our team at The Brighthouse and put your homesteading and housekeeping skills to work. Your eye for detail (like cleaning dust bunnies behind the TV), commitment to high standards, and passion for staging homes so that they provide the perfect space for memories to be made all make you an excellent candidate for this position.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the pristine condition of our distinctive vacation homes and ensuring that every corner of the space meets our detailed requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all areas of the property, adhering to high standards.

Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for instance, removing wasps nests, hauling trash, picking up propane)

Replinish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest houses.

Report any maintenance issues or safety hazzards promptly, and help us find solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in residential or hospitality cleaning is preferred

Bonus points for previous experience hosting on Airbnb or VRBO

Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods

Proficiency is using cleaning products and appliances

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must have your own smartphone to access apps for scheduling and reporting as well as your own reliable transportation

COMPENSATION:

Wage: We will pay you per turnover. Expected to be between $500-$1500 per month depending on occupancy.

Schedule: The schedule for turnovers varies depending on season. Flexibility is key, with the understanding that weekends and holidays may require availability for turnover cleanings.
