The entire Mid-Century house — designed by architect Goforth — sits on a wooded acre that overlooks a creek in a natural setting. The one-level home wraps around a central courtyard and large Japanese maple tree.

Master Bedroom

The spacious master bedroom features a king bed with luxurious linens, hand-picked art, and a small seating area. The linens, art, and textiles in this room are reminiscent of California, where Erin, your host, spent many years. The Master has access to a pass-through bathroom that also opens to the kitchen. This bathroom has a walk-in shower with upgraded rainfall Delta shower head.

Indoor Experience

The large living room features a wrap around couch from Room and Board, Moroccan rugs (bought during the host's travels to Marrakech), live plants, and (host's) eclectic book collection. 65" Sony TV with Apple TV for Netflix, Hulu, Prime, HBO, etc. (No cable.) Most apps are already installed with profiles loaded for your viewing enjoyment.

Outdoor Experience

The large deck out back connects the living room and dining room and has bench seating throughout. Walk off the deck and down to the creek. Gas grill also available! You’ll receive a door code for self-check-in. Arrival instructions will be sent the morning your reservation begins. You’ll have the whole house to yourself. I’ll be available by text to assist with any questions or concerns you may have during your stay.

Restaurants, cafes and bars are also nearby and only a few minutes away. 10 minutes to downtown Franklin Street/UNC campus. 25 mins to RDU airport.
